On Friday, March 20th at 3 PM Governor JB Pritzker issued a stay-at-home order for the state of Illinois beginning on Saturday 3/21/20 from 5 PM until April 7th. This restricts movement for all but essential activity.
Due to state mandate, the Cathedral will be closed to public worship during the stay-at-home period, but services will be celebrated by clergy and cantors and will be live streamed on our YouTube channel.
For the memorial service on Saturdays, parishioners may leave lists of names to be commemorated at a table outside of the covered entrance to the church.
In case of an emergency or if you wish to receive Holy Communion at home, please do not hesitate to contact our clergy who in this time of sheltering remain concerned for your physical and spiritual well-being.
