On the Tuesday after Bright Week, Divine Liturgy is traditionally served honoring the memories of the departed. On this day, short memorial services are celebrated at the graves of loved ones. Services on this day were held at the Greek Orthodox chapel on the grounds of Elmwood cemetery where a large number of past parishioners of our cathedral are buried.
